The interior of Chery Omoda 5 has a pretty nice design. Inside the interior compartment, Chery Omoda 5 is equipped with dual screens with a size of 10.25 inches, one for the digital instrument cluster and the other for the infotainment system. Chery Omoda 5 also supports wireless connectivity for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Regarding the powertrain, Chery Omoda 5 uses 2 engine options in the Chinese market. The first engine option is a 1.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, producing 156 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque, combined with a CVT automatic transmission. Meanwhile, the other engine option is a 1.6L, 4-cylinder, turbocharged engine with a capacity of 197 horsepower and 290 Nm of torque, combined with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Omoda Philippines will be operated independently from the brands of Chery group (Chery, Jetour). They want to open 8 to 10 dealerships by 2023 and are looking for potential agency partners, or maybe even own and run the first dealerships themselves. Omoda PH emphasizes that after-sales service and parts availability are very important to them.
