(CHK) Users can purchase the latest DualSense controller in the PlayStation 5 set through the Apple online store.

After adding iOS support to Sony’s PlayStation 5 DualSense controller in April, Apple has begun bringing the Sony accessory to its store.

Apple rolled out extended controller support for its various platforms with iOS 14.5, tvOS 14.5, and macOS 11.3 last month. This allows a wide range of Apple devices to be compatible with both Sony’s PS5 DualSense and Xbox Series X accessories.

In addition to native iOS, tvOS, and macOS games, DualSense can be used to play games streamed from PS4 and PS5 via PS Remote Play. This feature requires a standalone app and a PlayStation Network account.

Apple notes that users can use DualSense wirelessly on the go for mobile gaming thanks to the internal battery. To recharge, users can use a USB 1.2 plug-in charger or a standard USB 2.0 or 3.0 compatible port found on PS5, Mac or PC consoles.

Sony’s DualSense controller is currently being sold by Apple for $ 69.95. However, currently only online purchases are available, not in-store purchases. DualSense controller orders will begin shipping on May 26.
