The billionaire entrepreneur and owner of the Dallas Mavericks basketball team invested in NFT data platform CryptoSlam.

Billionaire Cuban invests through his own venture capital firm Radical Investments. CryptoSlam declined to share the investment amount but said it was the first round of external funding since its inception in 2018.

With new capital in hand, CryptoSlam plans to scale its team and add support for more blockchains on the platform. Currently, CryptoSlam pulls data from the Ethereum, Flow, and WAX blockchains.

CryptoSlam CEO Randy Wasinger said that if any blockchains end up with NFTs that the market is interested in, CryptoSlam is committed to adding them. These include Binance Smart Chain, Immutable X, Polygon (formerly Matic Network) and Ronin sidechain. Billionaire Cuban shared:

“CryptoSlam has become the industry leader in tracking transactions for NFT – from real-time tracking of what’s listed and selling on NBA Top Shots to being able to trade your NFT. . And that dominance is just increasing. I’m thrilled to be part of the amazing company Randy is working with. ”

Billionaire Mark Cuban has invested in a number of NFT-related platforms in recent weeks. These include Lazy, Mintable and NFT42.

Besides Cuban, Troon Technologies, Aloomii, GeoAds also participated in the investment round “angel” of CryptoSlam. Aloomii and GeoAds are respectively owned by the current CryptoSlam employees Yohann Calpu and Ryan Wasinger.

With their investment, Yohann and Ryan are now minority partners and an integral part of the CryptoSlam team. She added that both, along with her and Troon Technologies’ David Mancuso, now all have board seats in CryptoSlam.
