Øystein Stray Spetalen, a Norwegian billionaire investor, announced that he bought bitcoin as well as invested in Norway’s largest bitcoin exchange just weeks after he viewed bitcoin as “meaningless”.
During the DNB Invest conference on March 18, Spetalen criticized bitcoin for its too much energy, environmental impact, and even suggested that bitcoin should be scrapped.
