Yamaha Cygnus Gryphus is a new scooter model introduced by the Japanese automaker to the public. Cygnus Gryphus is completed with the design language of Yamaha, and has a smaller design than the “brother” Yamaha NVX155. This scooter model has a headlight divided into 3 parts, creating a sharp front end.
Yamaha Cygnus Gryphus uses familiar 12-inch wheels, comes with 120/70 front tires and 130/70 rear tires.
Although there is no ABS anti-lock braking system, but Cygnus Gryphus still ensures user safety when equipped with disc brakes at both front and rear.
To make up for the absence of ABS, Cygnus Gryphus is equipped with a unified brake system by Yamaha with one brake lever acting on the rear brake and the other allowing the front and rear brakes to be activated.
Yamaha Cygnus Gryphus is powered by a 125cc SOHC engine, single cylinder, variable valve, along with Bluecore engine design to help save fuel.
The aforementioned engine comes with a CVT gearbox, allowing the Yamaha Cygnus Gryphus to achieve a maximum capacity of 11 hp at 8,000 rpm and 11 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. This intelligent engine generation also helps to reduce engine noise, helping the car to operate more smoothly.
The clock of the Yamaha Cygnus Gryphus is an LCD screen with the ability to display all the necessary information for the driver. Other convenient equipment can include a spacious 28L trunk under the saddle, a USB charging port that allows users to charge mobile devices.
Yamaha Cygnus Gryphus is equipped with a 6.1L fuel tank along with a suspension system that includes telescopic forks at the front and double shock absorbers at the rear.
