Today (March 22), Vivo has just launched a new 5G smartphone in Thailand, dubbed Vivo Y72 5G. The phone owns a large screen, powerful performance with MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 processor, 3 rear cameras and impressive battery life.
The Vivo Y72 5G is equipped with a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display, Full HD + (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution and 20: 9 aspect ratio. The screen of the device occupies 90.6% of the front area, supports 96% NTSC color gamut and uses the “water drop” design to accommodate the 16MP selfie camera.
Moving to the back, this phone carries a vertical 3-camera system in a rectangular module. The rear camera cluster includes a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP wide-angle camera with 120-degree viewing angle and a 2MP macro camera with 4cm focal length.
Inside, Vivo Y72 5G owns the hardware power from MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 processor, combined with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.1 internal memory. The device comes with a 5000mAh capacity battery, which supports 18W fast charging through the USB-C port. In addition, it also supports 2 SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, has a microSD card slot, dual speakers, 3.5mm headphone jack and fingerprint sensor on the side.

Price and time of release
As expected, the Vivo Y72 5G will officially be on shelves in Thailand from March 31 with the price of 9999 Baht (about 7.5 million) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB of memory. The device has two color versions to choose from, including Graphite Black and Dream Glow.
