Galaxy Z Fold4’s cheap competitor revealed, hardware is out of sauce, stunning design

OPPO Find N3 folding screen smartphone is expected to launch later this year. Opposing one nine one ten with the Galaxy Z Fold4 has started to have leaks recently.

Accordingly, Digital Chat Station has provided more details about Find N3 regarding camera setup. It is rumored that the Find N3 will be equipped with three Sony IMX890 sensors as part of its camera setup. This will be a very powerful setup for mobile photography because usually, each smartphone has only one sensor like the Sony IMX890. Even the OPPO Find X3 Pro Flagship has only two Sony IMX890 sensors for wide-angle and telephoto cameras, the main camera uses a Sony IMX989 sensor.

Also according to the latest leak of Digital Chat Station, it will come with Oppo’s own MariSilicon X NPU * (image processing chip) and similar to previous generations, the device’s support software will come from Hasselblad. The front-facing camera will be a 32MP Omnivision OV32C sensor also included in the Find N2. The Find N3 will come with a 4,800mAh battery, slightly larger than the Find N2’s 4,520mAh.

An earlier leak suggested that the Find N3 is codenamed PHN110 and will feature three 50MP rear cameras. The Find N3 is also expected to launch with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2 chipset. Qualcomm will release the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2 this summer. The latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 2 comes with improvements over mid-cycle versions of the Snapdragon 4 series.

A lot of details are still missing for the next-generation foldable smartphone, the Find N3. It will be interesting to see the folding mechanism and how it compares to the current foldable flagships from Samsung, Xiaomi and others. There are still no official details on the release date and specifications of the flagship Oppo Find N3.

Overall, the specifications of OPPO Find N3 are formidable and it is quite possible that an equal competitor can even beat the Galaxy Z Fold4.
