Xiaomi is planning to introduce a new series of low-cost phones under the Redmi brand, such as the Redmi A2. The company is expected to launch the Redmi 12C on February 26 globally, and the phone is renamed POCO C55 in India. Before the launch, the specifications and color options of Redmi 12C were leaked through the poster.
Redmi 12C . Design
The Redmi 12C has a teardrop-shaped cutout on the front that houses the selfie camera and the bottom bezel is quite thick. It also has the volume rocker and power button on the right edge, while the SIM card tray is on the left edge. On the back, the phone has a rectangular module that houses a dual camera set, an LED flash and a fingerprint sensor.
The back of the phone is covered with a matte finish for a firm grip. Redmi 12C has the same design as the POCO C55 except that the back is not made of leather. The phone will have 4 color options: green, pink, black and blue.

Redmi 12C will come with a 6.71-inch screen, HD + resolution. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset and will feature a minimalistic anti-slip design.
In terms of optics, the Redmi 12C will have a 50MP main camera and a QVGA secondary sensor. It also has a 5MP camera on the front for selfies and video calling. The phone comes with a 5000 mAh battery and expandable RAM.
Expected price of Redmi 12C
Redmi 12C is said to launch with 2 memory options. The 3GB/64GB version will cost 170€ (about 4.3 million VND), while the 4GB/128GB version will cost 200€ (about 5.1 million VND).
