According to local media, Yamaha is preparing to launch the Yamaha Force 2.0 sports scooter model in the Philippines market in 2022. Although Yamaha has not yet confirmed it, many domestic consumers are looking forward to the appearance of this sports scooter.
Yamaha Force 2.0 was introduced in the Taiwanese market in October 2021 with a price of NT$99,000 (about VND 80.3 million). If sold in the Philippines, Yamaha Force 2.0 will compete with names like Honda Vario or Honda Air Blade.
Yamaha Force 2.0 has a fancy but equally attractive appearance. The Yamaha Force 2.0 sports scooter model is built based on the Street Motard design language, highlighting the sportiness as well as the dynamics of the car. The front part of the car’s mask attracts the eye with its angular cuts and a pair of headlights with a unique design.
The rival of Honda Air Blade also scored with many modern equipment and features. Specifically, the Yamaha Force 2.0 is equipped with an LCD instrument cluster with an “eye-catching” design, which helps provide basic information about the distance traveled, speed or fuel consumption. Along with that is a USB charging port, a small storage compartment in front or an LED taillight system.
Besides, Yamaha Force 2.0 also ensures safety for users during travel thanks to disc brakes on both front and rear wheels. More specifically, the model in the same segment with Honda Air Blade also has an anti-lock braking system ABS and Traction Control technology to help prevent the risk of wheel locking or skidding.
Yamaha Force 2.0 is also upgraded by the Japanese automaker in the suspension system with double cylinder springs at the rear and a pair of forks that can adjust the compression. In terms of performance, the Yamaha Force 2.0 uses a 155c, SOHC, VVA, 4-valve, water-cooled engine block with a maximum capacity of 14.5 horsepower and maximum torque of 13.8 Nm.
With impressive equipment, Yamaha Force 2.0 promises to make it difficult for competitors like Honda Vario or Honda Air Blade if it launches in the Philippines market in the near future. And after the Philippines, will Yamaha Force 2.0 land in Vietnam this year or not?
