Honda CR-V 2023 closes the launch schedule, revealing a series of upgrades that make it difficult for Hyundai Tucson

Honda Thailand recently announced that the sixth generation Honda CR-V will make its debut in this market on March 22 at the 2023 Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS). Besides a few teaser images, Honda also revealed some details of the Honda CR-V 2023 variants offered in this market.

Two powertrain options will be available on the Honda CR-V 2023 including an RS e:HEV hybrid with a 2.0-liter engine and a 1.5-liter VTEC Turbo petrol engine, with front-wheel drive and optional AWD. The powertrain in the e:HEV model is similar to that on the Civic e:HEV, with a 2.0-liter Atkinson cycle four-cylinder engine and e-CVT working together with two electric motors for total system power. is 204 hp (207 PS) and 371 Nm from 0 to 2,000 rpm.

In terms of exterior equipment, the Honda CR-V 2023 will have 19-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights with projector lenticular high beam, LED front fog lights, glossy black front grille with RS badging. as well as front/rear and side skirts in the same body color. The side mirror covers will also be available in body color.

For the 1.5 Turbo model, there is no change in power as the four-cylinder continues to deliver 190 hp (or 193 PS) at 6,000 rpm and 242 Nm of torque from 1,700 to 5,000 rpm.

Standard specifications for the Honda CR-V 2023 Turbo include 18-inch alloy wheels, dual exhaust pipes, Honda Sensing safety kit and a panoramic camera. Measuring 4,694 mm long, 1,864 mm wide and 1,681 mm high with a wheelbase of 2,700 mm, the new Honda CR-V 2023 is 69 mm longer, 10 mm wider and 8 mm lower than its predecessor. It also has a 40 mm longer wheelbase, promising a spacious and comfortable cabin for users.

Currently, the price of Honda CR-V 2023 in this market has not been disclosed. After Thailand, Honda CR-V 2023 may continue to be sold in Vietnam and Malaysia in the near future.
