Honda SH, Air Blade ‘invited’ Winner X to reduce the price to VND 36 million, surprising Vietnamese customers

Recently, consumers were surprised when the price of Honda Winner X car dropped to 36 million VND. In fact, not only Honda Winner X, many “hot” Honda models such as Honda SH or Honda Air Blade are also being heavily discounted in the mid-May days.

Specifically, currently Honda Winner X is being sold at a price lower than the proposed price by nearly 10 million VND. In which, the sports brake version usually costs 39 million VND and the remaining versions range from 40 to 41 million VND. In addition, customers who buy Honda Winner X cars during this time also receive 3 million VND in support of registration fees. Thus, the actual amount that customers have to spend when buying Honda Winner X is currently only 36 million VND.

Meanwhile, Honda Air Blade is also currently being heavily discounted at dealers with prices ranging from 53.69 to 54.89 million VND. Honda Air Blade is currently being reduced by 1.5 million VND compared to the selling price last month and nearly 3 million VND lower than the listed price of the manufacturer. In addition, car buyers also receive 1.5 million VND to support the registration fee.

Another Honda model, the Honda SH, also surprised when it reduced the price from 3 to 5 million VND compared to the selling price of the previous month. Specifically, the Honda SH 2020 version of 125i CBS is being sold for VND 80.5 million while the ABS version costs VND 88 million. The CBS 150i version costs 97 million VND and the ABS version has the highest price, up to 108.5 million VND. In addition, the Honda Lead model is also being reduced from 500 to 900 thousand VND, to a new price of 43 – 49 million VND (including license plate fee).

According to many people, the fact that many Honda motorcycles have continuously reduced prices in recent times is due to the influence of the Covid-19 epidemic. The recent epidemic situation has slowed down the purchasing power of Vietnamese consumers, forcing dealers to reduce prices to stimulate customers’ demand for cars.

Besides, the price reduction also helps the above models increase their competitiveness with competitors in the same segment, especially the Honda Winner X model. With the appearance of Yamaha Exciter 155 VVA 2021, Honda Winner X is under a lot of pressure causing this model to continuously depreciate in recent times.
