Braking is handled by a single hydraulic disc at both the front and rear. The manufacturer equips the Aprilia SR GT 200 and SR GT 200 Sport with 14-inch front wheels with 260 mm diameter brake discs, while 13-inch rear wheels come with 220 mm discs. The tire sizes that this scooter couple use are 110/80 front and 130/70 rear, with front wheel ABS as standard equipment.
Showa is the supplier of suspension for the SR GT 200. The front end is equipped with a conventional telescopic fork with 120 mm wheel travel, while the rear has a double shock absorber that can be adjusted for preload.
