If you’re satisfied with the results, move on to the next step of this tutorial to save the reversed song.

Save the reversed song

If you want to play the song you reversed using another media player without using Audacity, you should save the new audio file. Reopen the menu File, move in Export, then click options Export Audio.

Select Export Audio
Select Export Audio

Audacity opens a window Export Audio lets you choose where to save the song on your computer, its name, format, and encoding. Choose the location and name that you see fit, but pay a little more attention to the file type and encoding you want to use. The safest choice you can make is to use the defaults: File type is WAV (Microsoft) and encryption “Signed 16 bit PCM”.

The resulting file works on any Windows computer, regardless of the operating system version, but the downside is that you get a rather large file. However, in order to use another file format, you may find that you must also have the appropriate audio codec installed on your system. When you’re done, click the button Save.

Hope you are succesful.
