Hyundai Creta 2023 launched for only VND 309 million, equipment that makes Kia Seltos ‘suffocating’

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has just launched the new 2023 Hyundai Creta with prices starting at Rs 10.84 lakh (about VND 309 million) for the base 1.5 MT E variant and going up to Rs 19.13 lakh (approximately Rs. about 546 million VND) for the most advanced variant. Compared to the old model, the Hyundai Creta 2023 has an additional price of 20,000 (about 5.7 million VND) for the gasoline engine version and 45,000 Rs (about 12.8 million VND) for the diesel version. Although the price of Hyundai Creta 2023 has increased slightly, it is still attractive enough to be able to “race” with Kia Seltos.

Just like the base E variant, other trims like the EX, S, S+, SX and SX(O) also see an increase of Rs 20,000. The second largest automaker in India has increased the price of Creta diesel engines by 3.93% and the range starts at Rs 11.89 lakh (about VND 339 million). With no changes in performance, Kia Seltos’ rival car draws its power from a 1.5L 4-cylinder petrol engine, a 1.5L NA 1.5L turbocharged diesel engine and a 1.4 turbocharged gasoline engine. L.

The NA petrol engine produces a maximum capacity of 115 hp and a maximum torque of 144 Nm while the turbocharged petrol engine produces 140 hp and 242 Nm of torque. The only diesel engine can produce a maximum capacity of 115 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. Hyundai sells the Creta to the market with a choice of manual and automatic transmissions.

The SUV “shared” with Kia Seltos currently offers 6 airbags as standard equipment and the safety equipment list also includes ESC (Electronic Stability Control), HSAC (Slope Start Assist Control). ), VSM (Vehicle Stability Management), rear disc brakes, height-adjustable seat belts and ISOFIX child seat anchors. Hyundai also offers 60:40 split-folding rear seats as standard for the 2023 Creta.

The Korean automaker has also announced that the 2023 Hyundai Venue has 4 airbags as standard for SX, SX (O) and S(O) versions while the higher-end Alcazar model is available with 6 airbags. The Venue compact SUV is now equipped with a more powerful 1.5L 4-cylinder diesel engine with a maximum capacity of 116 hp and 250 Nm of torque. The engine is linked to a six-speed manual transmission only.
