Hyundai Sonata 2024 revealed test run photos with a new look, promising the launch date is not far away.
Recently, the Hyundai Sonata 2024 was caught during a test run in Korea. Hyundai Sonata 2024 is an upgraded version in the middle of the life cycle and will be launched soon in the near future. Meanwhile, in Vietnam, Hyundai Sonata is being considered a rival of VinFast Lux A2.0.
Through the leaked images, it can be seen that the 2024 Hyundai Sonata will be equipped with Hyundai’s widest, thin light bar, similar to the new Kona, Grandeur and Staria minivans. The narrow strip runs across the nose of the Sonata below the hood edge and across both fenders only while the headlights are hidden inside the dark recesses of the bumper on either side of the hexagonal grille.
The contrastingly colored mirrors and large enlarged black plastic pieces in the grille indicate that this Sonata is in the N-Line version, and it certainly looks much sturdier than the somewhat boring model currently being sold. offered at Hyundai showrooms in the United States. The second image shows that the rear end of the 2024 Hyundai Sonata will be tweaked, potentially including an enlarged light/reflective area below the stone edge of the trunk lid.
If still using the current engine line, the base Hyundai Sonata 2024 will come with a 191 hp (194 PS) 2.5-liter engine or a 180 hp (183 PS) 1.6-liter turbocharged engine. Meanwhile, the turbocharged 290 horsepower (294 PS) engine will be applied to the Hyundai Sonata 2024 N-Line version.
Hyundai Sonata used to be one of Hyundai’s “trumps” in the domestic market. In 2012, Hyundai sold more than 230,000 Sonatas. However, in the face of fierce competition from rivals as well as the appearance of many other segments, the Hyundai Sonata is gradually losing its appeal. In 2022, sales of the Hyundai Sonata fall below 60,000 units.
