iQOO launches a new mid-range gaming smartphone duo that worries many Android giants

(CHK) The mid-range smartphone segment in the near future will certainly heat up a lot with the presence of two attractive smartphones from iQOO.

According to blogger @DigichatStation, iQOO will soon launch two new mobile phones, targeting mid-range models. This segment is currently witnessing fierce competition of big companies like Samsung with Galaxy A52s or Xiaomi with the 11 Lite 5G NE.

This blogger also said that one of the new machines will be equipped with Snapdragon 888 processor, 4500mAh battery and support for 66W dual-core flash charging. The new device will also be equipped with an OLED screen, support 120Hz refresh rate and have a 48MP camera. Another lower version will be equipped with Snapdragon 778G processor, supporting 66W charging. These parameters are slightly better than a series of mid-range and high-end Android smartphones today.

The technology world believes that these two phones are likely to be the iteration of the previously released iQOO Neo5. The configuration of the new phone will not be too different from the iQOO Neo5. The biggest difference is probably in the change to the new chip.

iQOO Neo5 was officially launched in March this year, equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chip, adding Samsung’s new LPDDR4X and UFS 3.1, using a 6.62-inch Samsung OLED E3 screen, supporting fingerprint recognition under the screen , built-in 4400mAh battery, support 66W flash charging.

IQOO also launched the iQOO Neo5 vitality version in May, equipped with Snapdragon 870 processor, using 144Hz LCD screen, supporting 44W charging. The corresponding version coming soon could be a phone using the Snadragon 778G chip.
