iQOO Z7i launched, is the first phone with Dimensity 6020 chip

The MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chip built on a 7nm process aims to power the next generation of low-cost 5G smartphones. The chip has an octa-core CPU consisting of two large Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2GHz accompanied by a Mali-G57 GPU.

The new chip supports LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, and its ISP can support cameras up to 64MP. It can also support FHD+ displays with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

The newly launched iQOO Z7i comes with a 6.51-inch LCD screen, 720p resolution. The phone has 128GB of storage expandable via microSD card, while there are 3 RAM options of 4GB, 6GB and 8GB.

In terms of optics, the phone has two cameras on the back including a 13MP f/2.2 main camera and a 2MP f/2.4 macro camera, while the waterdrop selfie camera on the front has a 5MP sensor.
