Subjectively, like all other occupations in society, the salary of an IT is decided by professional capacity, which with this job specificity, has a very clear distinction according to programming language and interval. years of experience.

Accordingly, the salary range of IT with less than 1 year of experience ranges from 10 to 22.5 million VND/month depending on the programming language.

For IT people with more than 8 years of experience, the income usually fluctuates above 40 million VND/month, except for IT using HTML/CSS programming language, the salary range is quite low, only 10 to 27 million VND/month.

Also according to Go statistics, JavaScript, Java are the programming languages ​​with the highest salary range.

Explaining to us about the difference in salary ranges by programming language, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Hung, head of programming team, Sota Labs Technology Joint Stock Company said: The reason IT salaries use Javascript is high. In other words, Javascript followers can do many types of projects, so their income is higher.

Programming languages ​​like C#, php, java are taught a lot in universities, the number of employees is relatively equal, so the salary range is the same.

In contrast, Python, Kotlin, Swift, Go universities teach less, you go to study or learn more at centers, so the number of personnel is less, the scope of use is narrower, the number of personnel is less, so salary levels are different.

“Also with the principle that many employees, the salary is lower and vice versa, html/css is known by many people, so the salary is difficult to compete with other languages,” added Anh Hung.
