Kia Seltos 2023 is about to have a GT Line version, ‘breaking the island’ in the market at a very cheap price

As planned, the Kia Seltos 2023 model will soon be launched in the middle of this year with many impressive upgrades and an expected price from 285 million VND. Recently, Kia Seltos 2023 was also caught during a test run in India.

Through the test run image, it can be seen that this is the GT Line version of the 2023 Kia Seltos model because of the red brake calipers. In addition to the redesigned grille and bumpers, the Kia Seltos 2023 is likely to add new alloy wheels, while at the rear it will come with a connected LED taillight setup. In the GT Line variant, the 2023 Kia Seltos may have more eye-catching red details.

Although the cabin design of the Kia Seltos 2023 has not been revealed, it is likely that the equipment and features on the Kia Seltos 2023 for India will have many similarities with the international version. The 2023 Kia Seltos may have a slightly redesigned dashboard with a thinner central AC vent and dual 10.25-inch screens. Kia can even offer the 2023 Kia Seltos a panoramic sunroof and heated front seats.

The list of safety features on the Kia Seltos 2023 can be mentioned as six airbags, vehicle stability control (VSC), ISOFIX child seat anchors and potentially ADAS. The suite of driver assistance technologies will most likely include adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning and lane keeping assist, similar to the new generation Hyundai Verna.

Kia will offer the new Seltos with the same 115-horsepower 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines as the current model. While the petrol engine will continue with 6-speed MT and CVT options, the diesel will likely come with a new 6-speed iMT instead of a manual transmission. Meanwhile, the 1.4-liter turbocharged petrol engine option will be replaced by the 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine of the Hyundai Alcazar and Verna with 160 horsepower and 253 Nm of torque.
