Last week, MoonPay acquired Madonna’s Bored Ape for 180 ether (equivalent to $564,000). The company then transferred it to Madonna’s wallet.
MoonPay also bought Bored Ape #1506 and transferred it to a certain wallet. This character possesses a leopard coat and has an eye patch. Not long after that rapper Wiz Khalifa updated his profile picture as this character.
Bored Ape is a token collection built on top of the Ethereum chain. This collection features over 10,000 animated monkeys generated by algorithms. Each monkey will have a unique characteristic.
