On February 23, CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced a project called Cairaoke with the aim of bringing AI to “human-level” intelligence, where it has the ability to learn, predict and act on its own.

Zuckerberg said the company’s CAIRaoke project is “a complete end-to-end neural model to build an on-device assistant”. This project is essentially identical to Google’s machine learning subsidiary DeepMind.

The AI ​​model works based on human-entered labels and tags. AI algorithms then analyze the data and make decisions based on the labels. This algorithm is also being used by Facebook in censoring content posted on the platform. So far, Facebook’s SSL tests have outperformed previous AI models for text and video. Zuckerberg said:

“SSL is not perfect yet, but it will be an important tool for the metaverse. The amount of information in the metaverse would be too large to be collected by labeled datasets.”
