(CHK) The new generation Mitsubishi Xpander Cross 2023 will be introduced at the end of this January with an undisclosed price.

After rivals such as Suzuki XL7 or Honda BR-V have respectively upgraded, the MPV Mitsubishi Xpander Cross 2023 will also soon have a new look this month. According to local media, Mitsubishi Xpander Cross 2023 will be officially launched on January 26 in the Philippines.

The current generation of Mitsubishi Xpander Cross was introduced in August 2022 at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS 2022). Compared to the current version, the new generation Mitsubishi Xpander Cross 2023 will have many impressive upgrades in both design and equipment.

For the 2023 version, Mitsubishi has given the Xpander Cross a more masculine front end with a redesigned front bumper. The grille on the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross 2023 differs from the standard Xpander in unique horizontal bars with new daytime running lights and T-shaped headlights.

Another new point for Mitsubishi Xpander Cross 2023 is the wheel with a unique five-spoke design. Mitsubishi has made an effort to change the look of the plastic panels that run the entire bottom half of the car. At the rear, the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross 2023 has smoke-colored taillights and a rear bumper with a new design.

Inside the interior compartment, the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross 2023 is expected to have a new dashboard like the standard Xpander. Besides, it is still unclear whether the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross 2023 version for the Philippines market will be equipped with the same digital instrument cluster and steering wheel as the Montero Sport.

As for the engine, it is almost certain that the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross 2023 will use the same 1.5L engine as the regular Xpander. With that engine block, the Mitsubishi Xpander Cross 2023 has a capacity of 103 hp and 141 Nm of torque – equivalent to rivals in the same segment.

It is not yet clear whether Mitsubishi Xpander Cross 2023 will switch to a CVT transmission or continue to use a four-speed automatic transmission. The price of Mitsubishi Xpander Cross 2023 has not been announced by the car company.
