Nissan Almera 2023 is about to have a more fuel-efficient version, easily causing Hyundai Accent to ‘fall down’

According to some sources, after North America, Nissan Almera 2023 will also soon be available for sale in Southeast Asia with many impressive upgrades. The Nissan Almera 2023 test run has been thoroughly camouflaged, but the overall appearance and design still retain the characteristics of this B-size sedan. In another photo uploaded to the Facebook group Nissan Almera 2020 Club Thailand, an account also shared a close-up image of the front end of the Nissan Almera 2023.

Although it is almost completely covered in front, it is highly likely that the Nissan Almera 2023 will still be equipped with a V-Motion grille like the Versa. Accompanying it are modern LED headlights and taillights.

In terms of performance, the twin model of the Nissan Almera 2023, the Versa, is equipped with a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine, naturally aspirated, with a capacity of 122 horsepower and 155 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the Nissan Almera 2023 for the Southeast Asian market will likely continue to be equipped with a turbocharged 1.0-liter 3-cylinder engine with a capacity of 100 horsepower and 152 Nm of torque.

However, according to some sources, the Nissan Almera 2023 will also be added with the Almera e-Power hybrid powertrain. The hybrid powertrain on the Nissan Almera 2023 is shared with the Kicks e-Power model. The Nissan Kicks e-Power model in Thailand is equipped with a 1.2-liter HR12DE naturally aspirated engine, combined with a 2.06 kWh battery and an electric motor, helping to produce 136 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. Currently, the launch date and official information about the Thai version of the Nissan Almera 2023 have not been revealed. However, after launching in Thailand, it is highly likely that Nissan Almera 2023 will also soon land in other markets in Southeast Asia, such as Malaysia or Vietnam.
