As you know, in iOS 15.4 version, Apple has officially updated the ability to unlock the device even when wearing a mask. However, this update is only available from the iPhone 12 series up to the latest iPhone version. Therefore, if you are using a lower iPhone device, of course you cannot experience this new feature.
However, there is still an alternative to unlocking your iPhone even when you are wearing a mask or gloves, which is to use the voice command feature – aka voice commands. So how exactly to use this feature? Please refer to the following instructions.

First, use the pen to mark the iPhone screen unlock PIN.

Then open “Settings” and go to “Accessibility”.

Click on “Voice commands”.

Enable the “Voice command” option.

Then click on “Customize commands”.

Click on the line “Create a new command”.

Enter the command you will use in the “Phrase” box. For example here I enter “Hello”.

Then tap “Actions”.

Tap the “Run custom gesture” line.

Proceed to click the screen password content that you have highlighted from the input and press “Save”.

Return to the new command setting screen, continue to press “Save” and you’re done.
From now on, every time you wear a mask or use gloves and want to unlock your iPhone, you simply say the voice command that you have set up. Very simple, right?
