Nokia does not often launch new smartphones in recent times after the Nokia G50 and G10 duo. But that will soon change. Nokia may have had a new smartphone with mid-range hardware that promises to be cheap.
Accordingly, a new smartphone from Nokia has just received FCC certification in the US with the codes TA-1412, TA-1415, TA-1405 and TA-1401. Of the many machines listed, listings for two variants – the TA-1404 and TA-1412 provide a wide range of machine specifications as well as design.
The image depicts Nokia’s new smartphone featuring a vertically stacked triple camera setup in the top left corner and housed in a rectangular module. This is an interesting change compared to the traditional round module camera cluster.
A similar design was recently spotted on the Nokia N1530DL, which looks like a US-specific version of the phone.
Although the full specifications are not yet known, the FCC certification of the Nokia TA-1404 and TA-1412 suggests that this model will have a 50MP main camera. The main camera will be joined by two other 2MP sensors while at the front, there will be an 8MP sensor placed inside the punch hole.
Nokia TA-1404 is listed as a dual SIM model, with 4GB RAM and 128Gb storage, TA-1412 will be single SIM version and will have options of 3GB RAM + 64GB, 4GB RAM + 128GB internal storage . Most likely those will be new C series smartphones called Nokia C40 or C50.
If so, users may soon see another low-cost Nokia smartphone because Nokia C30 is available from 3.1 million. This is also consistent with Nokia’s new launch cycle and leaks since August.
