Recently, ZTE has launched nubia Z50 Ultra, the first phone that is not a gaming phone. It has a flat 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2480 x 1116 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It also has an extremely thin bezel, measuring only 1.48mm, and a sturdy metal frame.
Nubia Z50 Ultra is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The phone has 4 memory options: 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB. 12GB/512GB and 16GB/1TB. It also has a 5,000 mAh battery with 80W charging support, starting at CNY 3,999 (about VND 13.5 million).
The main camera has a 64MP Sony IMX787 sensor and a 35mm equivalent focal length. It first appeared on nubia Z50 and has now been ported to Ultra version. The second camera is a periscope camera with a 64MP sensor but this one has an 85mm equivalent focal length. The third camera is a 50MP super wide-angle camera with AF for macro photography.
On the front, the phone is equipped with a 16MP sensor with a 4th generation under-screen technology called Neovision that supports selfie photography and video calling.
This is the first nubia Z series with a customizable physical slider to mute notifications, enable game mode or take instant photos. The power key and volume rocker are on the right side of the phone.
The Nubia Z50 Ultra comes pre-installed with the MyOS 13 skin, and nubia claims that it has no bloatware. Other connectivity features include USB-C 3.1, Bluetooth 5.3 and L1, L2 and L5 tri-band navigation.
ZTE nubia Z50 Ultra has 2 color options, gray and black, both with red accents around the two main cameras and the power button.
In addition, it also has a special edition, Starry Night, named after the famous painting by Impressionist painter Vincent van Gogh. This version only comes with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage for a special price of CNY 4,999 (about VND 16.9 million).
