Honor Play 5

Honor Play 5 is the successor to Honor Play 4 launched last summer. The device belongs to the mid-range segment, so it is finished from plastic on the back and frame. The highlight of this machine is not too much, mainly from the ability to support 5G with Dimensity 800U chip and 66W super fast charging technology.

The front of Honor Play 5 is a 6.53-inch OLED screen, using an outdated “water drop” design. This screen has Full HD + resolution but does not have a high refresh rate, integrated fingerprint sensor in the screen. The “water drop” area is where the 16MP selfie camera is located.

Honor Play 5 is equipped with a cluster of 4 main cameras on the back, placed in a square module, including: 64MP wide-angle camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, 2MP macro camera and 2MP depth camera.

In terms of performance, as mentioned above, the device is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 800U 5G chip. This is a mid-range chip that supports 5G networks, with moderate performance, with an AnTuTu score that is almost on par with the Snapdragon 732G. It has 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. The included battery has a capacity of 3800mAh but supports fast charging up to 66W. According to Honor, to fully charge this battery, users only take 35 minutes.

Honor Play 5 has a starting price of 2099 yuan, equivalent to 7.5 million, on shelves on May 26 with 3 color options: white, black, purple.

Honor Play 5 billion

This is essentially a shortened version of Honor Play 5 in terms of screen, camera and performance. The device is equipped with a 6.5-inch LCD screen, HD + resolution, also uses a “water drop” design with a selfie camera of only 5MP.

The back includes the main camera cluster placed in a square module. It looks like 4 cameras, but it’s actually just a dual camera, including a 13MP wide-angle main camera and a 2MP depth sensor.

Honor Play 5T is equipped with Unisoc T610 chip, a chip that is relatively unknown to Vietnamese users. This chip gives AnTuTu performance score quite weak, just over 100,000 points, as well as not integrating too many technologies. The device has 8GB RAM, 128GB memory and 5000mAh battery, supports 22.5W fast charging.

This version has a selling price of only 1099 yuan, equivalent to more than 4 million dong.
