OnePlus 11 is about to launch a ‘unique’ Jupiter Rock version

The OnePlus 11 flagship launched in India and globally last month as the successor to the OnePlus 10 series. The phone launched in two color options, black and green. Recently, the company confirmed the launch date of the new Jupiter Rock version of the phone.

Specifically, the OnePlus 11 5G Jupiter Rock version will launch in China on March 29. The new color will be a limited edition model in limited quantities. Li Jie, President of OnePlus China has stated that the upcoming Jupiter Rock version will be “unique”.

Digital Chat Station claims that the materials used on the special edition of Jupiter Rock have never been used in the industry before. This means that the OnePlus 11 5G Jupiter Rock will not have a glass or faux leather back. The leaked images show that it has a cream back but the exterior design resembles the OnePlus 11.

OnePlus 11 5G is the latest flagship from OnePlus that comes with a 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with Adreno 740 GPU. The chipset is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and non-expandable 256GB UFS 4.0 memory. The phone runs OxygenOS based on Android 13.

OnePlus 11 is equipped with a 6.7-inch QHD+ E4 flexible curved OLED 3.0 LTPO screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 3,216 x 1,440 pixel resolution, HDR10+, Dolby Vision. The screen has a maximum brightness of up to 1300 nits, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

In terms of optics, the OnePlus 11 5G has 3 cameras on the back including a 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera with OIS, a 48MP Sony IMX581 super wide-angle lens and a 32MP Sony IMX709 RGBW 2x telephoto camera. It also has a 16MP selfie camera that supports selfies and video calling.

OnePlus 11 5G has a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The phone measures 163.1 x 74.1 x 8.53 mm and weighs 205 grams. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor, IP54 rating, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Spatial Audio.
