Changan UNI-K iDD – a PHEV version of the current UNI-K petrol car has been officially launched. Changan UNI-K iDD is distributed with 4 versions with the same price from 187,900 RMB (equivalent to 642 million VND). Changan UNI-K iDD has a comprehensive cruise range of more than 1000 km and a comprehensive fuel consumption of 5.5L/100km.

The term iDD stands for Intelligent Dual Drive. The iDD hybrid system supports a variety of hybrid solutions including 48V mild hybrid systems, HEV, PHEV and EREV.

The front of the Changan UNI-K iDD has a borderless grille and slender headlights. Meanwhile, the Changan logo is displayed at the top of the grille. As a mid-size SUV, the dimensions of the Changan UNI-K iDD are 4,865 mm x 1,948 mm x 1,690 mm with a wheelbase of 2,890 mm. The car is equipped with hidden door handles, multi-spoke wheels, brake calipers. The rear of the Changan UNI-K iDD has twin overhead brake lights, see-through taillights, roof spoiler and iDD logo.

The interior of the Changan UNI-K iDD impresses with the center console screen, a flat-bottomed steering wheel and a dashboard consisting of 3 LCD screens. The far left is the gauge showing the tire pressure. The center screen can display information such as navigation, speed and entertainment. The rightmost display can transmit rearview mirror images and gear position information. The center console has two cup holders.

Some Changan UNI-K iDD models are equipped with an integrated adaptive cruise control system. Other functions include facial recognition, driver fatigue monitoring and voice interaction. Accompanying that is a sound system emanating from 12 Sony speakers, a 67-inch panoramic sunroof.

Changan UNI-K iDD adopts 5-seat configuration. The front seats are electrically adjustable and support heating and ventilation. In addition, the driver’s seat has a massage function while the rear seats can be folded down.

Changan UNI-K iDD is equipped with a 1.5T hybrid engine with a capacity of 125 kW and 260 Nm, a motor with a capacity of 110 kW and 330 Nm, and a 28.39 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack. It has an all-electric cruising range according to NEDC of 135 km, an all-round cruising range of over 1000 km and a 0 – 100 km/h acceleration time of 8.1 seconds. Changan UNI-K iDD supports DC fast charging and takes only 30 minutes to charge from 30% to 80%. The vehicle also supports an external discharge capacity of 3.3 kW. In hybrid mode, its comprehensive fuel consumption is 0.9L/100km.
