Realme C55 with Mini Capsule design like Dynamic Island of iPhone 14 Pro officially launched

Realme C55 has been officially launched in Indonesia as promised. This is the brand’s latest C series phone and it seems to have everything to be considered the most premium phone in the low-cost Realme C series.

First, this phone is equipped with Dynamic Island like the iPhone 14 Pro which the company is calling Mini Capsule. It’s a traditional punch-hole in the center of the screen, but expands for charging notifications, full battery, low battery alerts, data usage, steps, walking distance during the day, and other notifications.

Specifications of Realme C55

Realme C55 is equipped with a 6.72-inch FHD+ IPS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by MediaTek Helio G88 chipset paired with Mali G52 2EEMC2 GPU, 6GB/8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB/256GB storage which can be further expanded via microSD card. The phone runs the custom Realme UI based on Android 13 operating system.

The Realme C55 has a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging support. Connectivity features include 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging. The device also has a fingerprint sensor on the side for security.

In terms of optics, the phone has a dual camera setup on the back including a 64MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it also has an 8MP sensor for selfies and video calling.

List price of Realme C55

Realme C55 is priced at Rs 13,300 (about VND 3.8 million) for the standard 6GB/128GB version and Rs 16,000 (about VND 4.6 million) for the 8GB/256GB version. The phone is available from tomorrow (March 8) with 2 color options, Rainy Night and Sun Shower.
