Redmi K60 reveals terrible camera configuration, fair competition with Galaxy S23

Redmi K60 will continue to inherit the traditions of the Redmi K series that is to bring high-end configuration but the price will not be too expensive. Last year, K50 and K50 Extreme Edition both had excellent performance, but the price was only around 10 million VND.

This year Redmi K60 has begun to reveal some basic information. Accordingly, Blogger @Digital Chat Station recently revealed that the Redmi K60 series is testing a 50MP IMX8xx OIS main camera and this test sample is likely to be the K60 Pro.

The main camera name IMX8xx OIS is most likely the Sony IMX890 sensor, which is an iteration of the IMX766, used mainly in mid-range primary cameras and flagship cameras’ secondary cameras. In view of this, the standard version of the K60 can also use the IMX890 as the main camera.

Although not too powerful, this sensor can completely bring the ability to shoot on par with the upcoming Galaxy S23 for Redmi K60.

The Chinese technology community believes that it is likely that the K60 series can really threaten the Xiaomi 13 series itself with its photography technology. Because there is information that the main camera of Xiaomi 13 is 50 Megapixel but will not use Sony IMX989.
