At the moment, it is not clear whether the upcoming Wigo version is another major upgrade or will be a completely new generation.

On the outside, Toyota Wigo 2023 will be upgraded with LED lights, not halogen lights as before. Following the current trend, the rival models of Hyundai Grand i10 and Kia Morning will also remove the fog lights and change the taillights to a round shape. For users to be able to open the trunk easily, the manufacturer can also add a door handle behind the trunk.

Inside the cabin, Toyota Wigo 2023 will remove the fixed steering wheel to switch to a height-adjustable steering wheel, replacing the 4-way adjustable driver’s seat with a new 6-way adjustable driver’s seat, front seats with separate headrests . On the old Wigo model, the headrest was the detail that caused a lot of controversy. Not stopping there, Toyota Wigo 2023 will be able to expand the luggage space by folding the second row of seats flat. The model in the same segment as the Hyundai Grand i10 and Kia Morning uses a modern smart key system and convenient. Another notable upgrade on the new Wigo 2023 is the infotainment system with a screen that supports wireless Android Auto / Apple CarPlay connectivity.

In particular, Toyota Wigo 2023 is added with a safety feature that is superior to competitors in the segment such as Hyundai Creta and Kia Morning, which is a blind spot warning system. In addition, the new Wigo also has a seat belt reminder for both front seats, speed-locking doors, and electronic balance.

It is currently unclear whether the engine of the Toyota Wigo 2023 will be upgraded. However, the gearbox of this hatchback model will be switched to the D-CVT type like the Toyota Raize. Currently, Toyota Wigo is using a 1.0L turbocharged engine. The old Wigo also had the option of a 1.2L naturally aspirated engine.
