Revealing Honda’s upcoming super scooter: Beautifully ‘eats off’ Honda SH, the price is expected to be cheaper than Honda SH Mode

Recently, a number of news sites in India said that the Japanese automaker Honda has recently filed a copyright application for the Honda PCX 160 hybrid scooter model in the Indian market. Sources said that the Honda PCX 160 hybrid model will soon land in this market and be available at dealers this year.

According to car experts in India, it is likely that the Honda PCX 160 hybrid will be sold here with an expected price of Rs 1.45 lakh (about VND 46 million) – cheaper than the Honda SH Mode model in Vietnam. If this information is true, the price of the Honda PCX 160 hybrid is quite high compared to the general price of many other scooter models currently distributed in India.

Honda PCX 160 hybrid with Honda PCX 160 2021 was officially introduced at the end of 2020 in the Japanese market before landing in other Southeast Asian markets such as Thailand. Recently, this model has also been opened for sale in Vietnam as a private import.

In terms of design, the Honda PCX 160 2021 and the hybrid version are no different. Both versions are built on the new generation 125 version in the European market. However, the Honda PCX 160 hybrid and the 2021 version are considered sportier and more personal with embossed veins at the front and LED taillights with an X-shaped shape at the rear of the car.

The equipment on the Honda PCX 160 hybrid includes a Smartkey smart key, a storage compartment in the front with integrated USB charging port, a storage trunk with a capacity of 30L, Hazard Light emergency light switch. In addition, this model also has a single disc brake on both front / rear wheels and front brake with integrated ABS anti-lock braking system.

In terms of power, Honda PCX 160 hybrid is equipped with an engine system that combines a 156.1cc SOHC 4-valve petrol engine with an electric motor. The Japanese automaker also provides the Honda PCX 160 hybrid with two driving modes to optimize the vehicle’s performance, including the normal D Mode and the S Mode sport mode.
