Samsung Galaxy A24 coming soon with AMOLED screen, Helio G99 chip and 50MP triple camera

After weeks of leaks, Samsung finally launched the Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G in the Vietnamese market on March 15. However, that’s not the last Ax4 phone to launch this year, as today there was a new leak about the Galaxy A24.

As its name suggests, the Galaxy A24 will be a cheaper version of the Galaxy A34 5G. The phone is said to come with a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display is also said to have a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, though we assume that’s point brightness, not full screen. However, that is also impressive enough for a cheap mid-range phone.

The Galaxy A24 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. The phone also has a cluster of 3 rear cameras including a 50MP main camera with OIS and f/1.8 aperture, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, it also has a 13MP selfie camera for sharper selfies and video calls.

The Galaxy A24 is said to measure 162.1 x 77.6 x 8.3mm and weigh 195g. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack as well as a fingerprint sensor on the side. The phone is also powered by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 25W charging. The phone will be available in four color options: black, silver, mint green and burgundy.
