The Beijing Winter Olympics is coming up and Samsung has gone ahead and announced the limited edition Galaxy Z Flip3 to celebrate the big event. This is also what they did at the summer Olympics.
The exclusive Z Flip3 comes in an all-new Winter Dream White color and sports gold accents on the frame and hinges while the sub-display area has a black finish. We can also see the Beijing 2022 Olympics logo on the bottom half just below the Samsung logo.
The new Z Flip3 Olympic Games Edition comes with a customizable theme complete with Olympics-inspired wallpapers, icons, and cover screen clock styles.
This device has 8GB RAM and 256GB internal memory and is listed at 7999 yuan (about 28.6 million dong) at Samsung’s official electronics store in China. You can pre-order the device from today while the sale is scheduled for January 15. At the Tokyo 2021 Olympics, participating athletes also received a Galaxy S21 from Samsung.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 has a clamshell folding form and is the third version launched by the Korean public giant. It is equipped with Snapdragon 888 chip (5nm process) with 8GB of RAM and two options of 128GB or 256GB of high-speed UFS 3.1 technology. The phone also supports both 5G Sub6 and mmWave bands.
The Z Flip3 comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on the outside and an Armor aluminum frame, just like its Fold sibling. Samsung has made the phone 1.3mm shorter, 1.4mm narrower and 0.3mm thinner than its predecessor, while the weight remains unchanged at 183g.
The Galaxy Z Flip product line is sold in Vietnam with two versions of Black Diamond and Quartz Purple with 256GB of internal memory and the suggested retail price of VND 36,000,000.
