Sony Xperia 1 V design leaks, will be the thinnest phone equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

Sony’s Xperia 1 V could be unveiled at MWC in Barcelona later this month. In the meantime, let’s enjoy the first leaked image to see what the new Sony flagship will bring.

If you compare this camera cluster with the Xperia 1 IV, you will immediately notice that the ToF camera and RGB infrared sensor have disappeared. Therefore, Xperia 1 V is left with only 3 sensors with the smallest sensor containing a periscope lens. The LED flash has been integrated in the camera module instead of on top like the Xperia 1 IV.

According to a Chinese leaker, the Xperia 1 V will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. It will also be the thinnest smartphone equipped with this chip and Sony will have some solutions to help cool the phone during use.
