Sony Xperia 10 V image leak shows familiar design

Sony’s mid-range Xperia 10 IV series launched in May 2022 and went on sale in June. So there’s clearly a basis to expect the Xperia 10 V to launch around the same time. . Recently, a series of CAD-based images of the phone model have been leaked giving the first look at the new device from Sony.

If you were expecting a completely new design compared to the 2022 model then you will be quite disappointed. The Xperia 10 V has the same design language as the Xperia 10 IV, down to the button placement, camera module size and shape, and LED flash placement.

The dimensions are also oddly similar, although the two phones aren’t exactly the same. The Xperia 10 V measures 153.3 x 68.4 x 8.5mm, while the Xperia 10 IV measures 153 x 67 x 8.3mm. The new phone retains the top and bottom bezels of the 2015 version, without the waterdrop or punch-hole camera like other phones.

The Xperia 10 V will be the first phone in the 10 series to feature stereo speakers. The screen of the phone is rumored to have a diagonal of 6.1 inches, which is slightly larger than the 6-inch screen of its predecessor.
