Maruti Suzuki has finally launched the second generation Celerio hatchback with a price tag of Rs 4.99 lakh (equivalent to about VND 152 million when converted into Vietnamese Dong). The Maruti Celerio 2021 product line has 4 versions: LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi + with 6 monochrome color options: Smooth Silver, Caffeine Brown, Fire Red (new), Arctic White, Blue (new) and Gray Twinkle.

With the generation change, the Maruti Suzuki Celerio gets the new, more powerful 1.0L Dualjet 1.0L 3-cylinder K10C petrol engine, boosted with dual VVT and the segment’s first Idle starter technology. The maximum power and maximum torque of the engine are 65.7 hp and 89 Nm respectively. The new Celerio is the first Maruti Suzuki car equipped with a new generation K-Series engine equipped with a cooled EGR and integrated exhaust. To perform transmission duties, this A-class hatchback uses a 5-speed manual transmission and an AMT transmission.

Compared to its predecessor, the new Maruti Celerio 2021 is wider and more airy. The car also has a longer wheelbase, extended shoulder and legroom. Now, this A-class hatchback measures 3,695mm in length, 1,655mm in width and 1,555mm in height and sits on a 2,435mm long wheelbase with 170mm of ground clearance. The fuel tank capacity of the Maruti Celerio is 32 liters. The new Celerio offers 313 liters of trunk space.

Unlike the old generation with a tall appearance, the new Maruti Celerio 2021 has a more angular design. At the front, the car has a flat oval grille with honeycomb pattern, newly designed fog lights, triangular headlights connected through chrome strips, rear bumper is revised with contrasting black patches. and the nose is more upright. The elongated roofline and wide glass dome further mark the difference in appearance of this hatchback.
