‘Terminator’ Mitsubishi Xpander drastically reduced the price up to 70 million VND, Vietnamese customers flocked to money

The rival MPV model of Mitsubishi Xpander, Hyundai Stargazer, is continuing to enjoy an extremely attractive discount program on the occasion of the New Year. Compared to last year’s late sale, this early 2023 sale is even deeper.

According to information from a sales consultant in Ho Chi Minh City, Hyundai Stargazer is having a discount of up to 70 million VND depending on the version. Surveyed at some other dealers, versions of Hyundai Stargazer have a price difference of several million dong.

The starting price of the Hyundai Stargazer model after the discount is currently only 515 million VND. The price of the current Hyundai Stargazer is up to 40 million lower than the Mitsubishi Xpander (for the standard version). Compared to Xpander, the most advanced 7-seat version of Hyundai Stargazer is also 43 million VND cheaper. Even, the price of Hyundai Stargazer is the lowest in the segment, only higher than the Suzuki Ertiga model when the MPV model from the Japanese car brand is being discounted to about 495 million.

Hyundai Stargazer is not equipped with a manual transmission, this is the biggest difference of this model compared to most MPV models being distributed in the Vietnamese market (including Mitsubishi Xpander). All 4 versions of Stargazer are equipped with a 1.5L 4-cylinder engine with a maximum capacity of 115 horsepower and maximum torque of 144 Nm. The engine is paired with an IVT continuously variable transmission.

Right from the standard version, Hyundai Stargazer has owned more modern equipment than rivals. Typically, the 10.25-inch infotainment screen supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The exterior of the standard Hyundai Stargazer is quite similar to the more advanced versions. The only difference is that the wheels have a simpler design and the lighting clusters use halogen bulbs, not LEDs.

The high-end Hyundai Stargazer version possesses many of the most modern technologies in the segment, most notably safety equipment with the SmartSense package with features of rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot warning, and driver warning. Not only that, Mitsubishi Xpander’s great rival also has 6 airbags, tire pressure warning, remote detonation, speed limiter, automatic throttle.
