The Chinese electric car model will be available for sale next April, the price is expected to be only 204 million

After many days of waiting, the new Shenlan S7 electric SUV has been launched in China. The Shenlan EV brand is a collaborative project between Changan, battery manufacturer CATL, and technology giant Huawei. The brand is positioned above the Changan brand and below the Avatr brand.

Positioned in the mid-size SUV segment, Shenlan S7 possesses a sporty design with some sharp edges. The Shenlan S7 has black window frames, black wheel arches, black sidewalls and a large spoiler above the rear window. Shenlan S7 owns 20-inch wheels with brake calipers painted in the same body color. Shenlan S7 has detailed dimensions of length x width x height of 4,750 x 1,930 x 1,625 mm respectively with a wheelbase of 2,900 mm.

Shenlan S7 is sold in two versions, including EV and EREV versions. Shenlan S7 EV version has a capacity of 258 horsepower and 320 Nm with a maximum speed of 180 km / h and an electricity consumption of 14.2 kWh / 100 km. Meanwhile, Shenlan S7 EREV version has a capacity of 238 horsepower and 320 Nm, a maximum speed of 180 km / h and fuel consumption of 19.4 kWh / 100 km.

The interior of Shenlan S7 is considered beautiful with orange-brown tones. Shenlan S7 is equipped with a HUD steering wheel display and a central screen for the infotainment system. In addition, Shenlan S7 also has an interesting steering wheel with two spokes, two small control buttons and a flat bottom. Shenlan S7 is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip to make all the sensors and computers work and the system supports OTA upgrade and wireless smartphone charging.

Shenlan S7 will make its public debut at the 2023 Shanghai Auto Show in April before going on sale. Shenlan S7 is expected to cost from around 60,000 RMB (equivalent to 204 million VND).
