The electric car model is incredibly popular, causing a “fever” with the same price as the Honda SH 2022

Recently, the SAIC-GM-Wuling alliance has shared a huge sales of up to 1.11 million units of the Wuling Mini EV electric car model since its launch on July 24, 2020.

Accordingly, in the past 2022, Wuling Mini EV accounted for 9.5% of total electric vehicle sales in the Chinese market and accounted for more than 50% of the market. Wuling’s biggest competitors are Chery and Changan, which hold more than 30% market share.

It is known that Wuling Mini EV is a small 4-seat pure electric car. The car is distributed with 4 different versions, including the basic version, the Makaron version, the Gameboy version and the Convertible version. In particular, the Basic and Makaron versions of Wuling Mini EV accounted for more than 90% of total sales and received many positive feedbacks from domestic consumers.

As an ultra-small EV model, the length of the Wuling Mini EV is 2920mm and the wheelbase is 1940mm. Due to its small size, the turning radius is only 4.2m. Except for the basic version, other versions of Wuling Mini EV are all equipped with air conditioning and LCD control panel with mobile APP support to query the vehicle’s operating status.

In terms of power, the basic version of the Wuling Mini EV is equipped with a single engine with 27 horsepower and the Gameboy version is equipped with a single engine 41 horsepower. Wuling Mini EV uses ternary battery (NMC) and LFP with an operating range of 120 – 300km (CLTC).

Wuling Mini EV has a warranty period for the entire vehicle of 3 years or 100,000 km (whichever comes first) and a warranty period for the battery, motor and electrical control system of 8 years or 120,000 km. The car is being sold with a starting price of 29,800 yuan (about 104 million dong).
