2. Set up a static IP

The Use the following IP address section you set up as follows.
- IP Address: 192.168.1.X (X is the number from 2 to 254 you can choose a comfortable number, like I choose 15 for example).
- Subnet mask: This will automatically fill in (255.255.255.0).
- Default gateway: 192.168.1.1
In the Use the following DNS server addresses section, set up as follows.
- Preferred DNS server: 22.214.171.124
- Alternate DNS server: 126.96.36.199
This is Google’s DNS you can also set up if you can’t access Facebook when blocked.
3. Use DOS command to re-grant dynamic IP
Step 1. First you open the window Command Prompt by typing CMD in the Windows search box.
Step 2. You type ipconfig/release right after the location C:UsersAdmin> then press Enter to start freeing your IP address.
Step 3. Continue typing the command ipconfig /renew and then Enter to refresh the IP address. Now try to connect to the Internet again to see if it works or not.
