The new generation Hyundai Creta 2024 will have many impressive upgrades in both design and equipment and many things in common with the elder Hyundai Accent 2023.
Recently, Hyundai India has launched the new generation Verna sedan (Hyundai Accent) with many leading features in the segment and a new turbocharged petrol engine. It is expected that the new generation Hyundai Creta 2024 will also share the interior and features from the Hyundai Accent model of the same house.
Hyundai already sells the Creta facelift in some international markets. However, the Korean giant says the new Creta will receive some design and interior changes that are exclusive to India. The Hyundai Creta 2024 is expected to launch around 2023.
The upcoming Hyundai Creta 2024 is available with two engine options – a 1.5-litre NA petrol and a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel. Hyundai recently discontinued production of the 1.4L turbocharged petrol engine as it will not be upgraded to meet BS6 Stage II emissions standards. The new Hyundai Creta will receive the same 1.5L 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine found on the Hyundai Accent model. This powertrain is capable of producing 160 hp and 253 Nm of torque, more powerful than the 1.4L turbocharged engine. The new Creta 1.5L turbo will be the most powerful SUV in its segment.
The 2024 Hyundai Creta is likely to share the interior design with the new Hyundai Accent sedan. The Hyundai Creta 2024 is expected to feature an integrated dual-screen setup – one for the touchscreen infotainment display and the other for the digital driver display. The Hyundai Creta 2024 will also have new front seats with ventilation and heating functions. Furthermore, the 2024 Hyundai Creta is also likely to receive the Hyundai Accent’s switchable climate and infotainment controls.
The Hyundai Creta 2024 for the Indian market will bring a different design and have some tweaks compared to the versions currently on sale in international markets. Similar to the Hyundai Accent, the new Hyundai Creta is expected to feature a parametric jewel front grille, daytime running lights and connected LED taillights. The Creta Turbo variant will also receive a few design and interior changes.
The new Hyundai Creta will also share ADAS technology with the new Hyundai Accent. The Radar-Camera-based ADAS technology that provides features such as automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, forward collision avoidance, lane-keeping assist and adaptive cruise control will be an advantage for the Hyundai Creta. 2024 increases competitiveness with competitors in the same segment.
