The new rival of ‘Honda SH backpacking version’ is about to launch to Vietnamese customers, the design is feverish

In the Vietnamese market recently, the Adventure-style off-road scooter segment is increasingly being loved by customers and therefore, also attracting many car manufacturers to participate. After Aprilia SR GT 200 or Honda ADV 160 and Honda ADV 150 – the model dubbed “Honda SH backpacking version”… SYM car company from Taiwan has also prepared to launch products in this segment.

Although SYM has not announced detailed information about its new scooter model, some information has been revealed through an update on data from the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam. Thereby, we were able to know the design style and some information about the upcoming off-road scooter model that SYM will launch.

Accordingly, the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam has just updated the Industrial Property Official Gazette No. 416, showing the industrial design of a completely new scooter model that has just been registered by SYM. Through the image posted in the document, it can be seen that the rival model of the “Honda SH backpacking version” Honda ADV will have a muscular, strong design in the Adventure terrain style.

It can be seen that SYM’s new scooter model is the SYM MMBCU 2022 that has been distributed in Taiwan since August this year. Due to the design idea of ​​​​the black Mamba snake in Africa, SYM MMBCU has a quite different design compared to other products of the Taiwanese automaker.

At the front of the car, the rival of the “Honda SH backpacking version” has 2 horizontal positioning lights on the two sides of the air cavity combined with the LED headlight cluster in the middle. Meanwhile, the rear of the car is relatively simple with the fenders placed separately and the double taillights.

According to information SYM announced in Taiwan, the MMBCU model has a 28L trunk under the seat, a spacious footrest, a fuel tank lid and a small storage compartment located right under the handlebars, a digital clock, a device handlebars set high. SYM’s scooter model is equipped with single disc brakes on both wheels with Bosch 2-channel ABS anti-lock braking system, telescopic forks at the front and single shock absorbers at the rear.

The new rival of the “Honda SH backpacking version” uses a 158 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine is mated to a CVT transmission and a TCS traction control system. The power of the engine has not yet been announced by the Taiwanese automaker.
