(CHK) Samsung has come very close to announcing a rival smartphone of Nokia 8.3 with hardware that promises to reverse the segment.

Samsung Galaxy A73 5G has been leaking since September last year and leaked overall yesterday. But today, the Galaxy A72 is one step closer to its launch as it has obtained Bluetooth certification.

Galaxy A73 5G will be the most advanced smartphone of the mid-range product line and will probably rival Nokia 8.3 – Nokia’s most powerful smartphone. However, the configuration of the representative from Samsung is slightly better in terms of configuration.

According to the Bluetooth SIG certification site, the two Galaxy A73 5Gs in their database are SM-A736B and SM-A736B_DS. Where the second version comes with dual SIM support. Having this certification means that the Galaxy A73 5G is ready for launch.

The certification body did not reveal any specifications of the Galaxy A73 5G other than confirming Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. However, SM-A736B – Galaxy A73 5G passed through Geekbench yesterday, revealing key specifications.

Galaxy A73 5G will use Snapdragon 778G chip with at least 8GB RAM and 128GB memory. This is a powerful chip that is almost close to the power of the Snapdragon 8 series specialized for high-end products.

The specifications of the previously leaked Galaxy A73 5G include a 6.7-inch FullHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, an IP67 waterproof rating, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W charging. The camera system at the back is emphasized by the 108MP main camera combined with 12MP, 8MP and 2MP Unit.

There is no word from Samsung about the Galaxy A73 5G yet, but it won’t be too long before the smartphone is officially launched.
