The ‘nightmare’ of Kia Morning and Hyundai Grand i10 arrives at dealers, extremely cheap prices, challenging all rivals

Maruti Suzuki Celerio – a model in the same segment as Kia Morning and Hyundai Grand i10 has received a new Black Edition. This special version was announced by the Indo-Japanese automaker to celebrate its 40th anniversary in India.

The hatchback, Celerio has a starting price of Rs. 5.35 lakh (equivalent to about 152 million VND when converted into Vietnamese currency). This price is extremely attractive for all customers when it is only as cheap as the Honda SH 350i scooter model in Vietnam market. Now, the black version of the Maruti Suzuki Celerio will still cost the same as the standard color options. This attractive price will definitely help Maruti Suzuki Celerio Black Edition easily intimidate rivals in the same segment as Kia Morning or Hyundai Grand i10.

The variant in question is the ZXI Plus variant and on the outside the car is finished in Pearl Midnight Black with black painted alloy wheels. Other than that, the hatchback has identical elements as on the standard ZXI Plus version. Furthermore, the Celerio Black Edition will also be available with the ZXI variant.

Under the hood, Celerio is equipped with a 1.0-liter K10C petrol engine that produces a maximum capacity of 66 horsepower and maximum torque of 89 Nm. The engine is also equipped with a CNG kit and in CNG mode will produce 56 horsepower and 82.1 Nm of torque. However, only the VXI variant has a CNG option. As for the gearbox, the rival model of Kia Morning and Hyundai Grand i10 has the option of a 5-speed manual transmission and an AMT automatic transmission.
