VanEck Community NFT Collection
VanEck teamed up with Korean creative agency NFT, NOMOMO, to release a new NFT collection. The NFT collection is based on Ethereum with a series of memes about a character modeled after Alexander Hamilton – the first US Secretary of the Treasury, named “Hammy”. Hammy has traveled through time and space on a quest to understand past, present and future financial policies.
JP Lee, co-founder of the VanEck Community NFT collection, said:
Ever since the NFT first emerged as a means to showcase compelling digital art, we haven’t overlooked that part of the equation either. All of our NFTs will feature eye-catching 3D avatars and narrative-style videos that will help create a sense of story and foster discussion, debate, and community. Our character Hammy would make an excellent guide for anyone interested in seeing the past, present, and future of finance unfold.
Community NFT Collection consists of 1,000 digital currencies uniquely built and designed as a digital membership card.
Matthew Bartlett, co-founder of NFT Community VanEck told the media:
We designed the VanEck Community NFT to act like a digital membership card, providing NFT holders exclusive access to a wide range of events, digital asset research and insights. community of digital asset enthusiasts and investors.
VanEck CEO Jan van Eck once said he was “astonished” by the “whole NFT phenomenon”. At the same time, he also made a prediction that Blockchain technology will completely transform Wall Street. Jan van Eck explained that his company’s delay in adopting this technology was due to regulators.

However, after that, the company launched the first Bitcoin futures exchange-traded fund in the United States called the Bitcoin Strategy ETF.
