Engine and performance

Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid 2023 retains the same single-cylinder, air-cooled, 125cc engine, with fuel injection technology. However, this engine is tuned to deliver a maximum capacity of 8 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and maximum torque of 10.3 Nm at 5,000 rpm. While displacement is unchanged for 2023, the latest version of this scooter benefits from an OBD-II sensor and is compatible with E-20 fuel. The OBD-II sensor is intended to monitor engine performance and condition data in real time.

Design

The Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid 2023 retains the classic design of its predecessor. However, in this version, the Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid 2023 has added a new color option, the all-new Dark Matte Blue. The remaining color options of the Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid 2023 include red, Cocktail yellow, cyan blue, metallic black, metallic cold blue, and matte dark blue. All paint options, except Matte Black Special and Dark Matte Blue Special, come with black alloy wheels. On the other hand, the Matte Black Special and Dark Matte Blue Special versions come with yellow alloy wheels.

Features and equipment

The feature list on the Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid 2023 is similar to the previous version. The Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid 2023 keeps the Bluetooth connection active with the Y-Connect smartphone app. However, this feature is only available on the disc brake version of the scooter. Data available on the Yamaha Y-Connect app includes fuel economy tracker, maintenance recommendations, last parking position, breakdown messages, revs dashboard and rider ratings.

The Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid 2023 also features an intelligent force assist system designed to provide additional thrust using the SMG system. The SMG system acts as an electric motor to provide additional power when the driver accelerates from a stop or when climbing a hill. Other features on this scooter include automatic stop & start system, disc brakes or drum brakes depending on the version and halogen lighting system.

The standard Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid 2023 has 130mm drum brakes on both wheels while the high-end variant has 190mm disc brakes at the front and 130mm drum brakes at the rear.
