(CHK) Today, Lenovo officially announced the 30th anniversary version of the ThinkPad X1 Carbon with extremely impressive configuration.
Today, Lenovo launched the ThinkPad X1 Carbon 30th Anniversary Edition. The version was released to mark the 30th anniversary since the brand released its first ThinkPad laptop. In that order it is the 10th ThinkPad X1 Carbon.
There are approximately 5,000 units of this commemorative limited edition ThinkPad X1. The ThinkPad X1 Carbon 30 Anniversary Edition features a carbon fiber side panel and the classic ThinkPad RGB Tri-Color Logo. This version also features the 30th Anniversary Edition logo, as well as a green and blue TrackPoint replacement cap.
The ThinkPad X1’s 30th Anniversary model has a 14-inch OLED display that outputs 2.8K video with a resolution of 2880 x 1800p. Spindle positions numbered 0001 to 5000 represent the number of versions available. The screen covers 100% of the P3 color gamut and has a 90Hz refresh rate.
This version is equipped with an Intel Core i7-1260P processor with 32GB of running memory and 1TB of storage. The new tablet features a 1080p high-resolution camera with Windows Hello facial recognition built into the device. There are also four microphones that support far-field audio capture.
The carrying case of the ThinkPad X1 Carbon 30 Anniversary Edition is made of 100% biodegradable, rapidly renewable bamboo and cane fibers. The package also includes a brand history book and Lenovo stickers and other free software.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon is available for pre-order in Taiwan for around $2870 (over VND 70 million). This version will be fully released in December 2022.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon has been a huge success trajectory since 1992 when the first ThinkPad was launched in Japan. It has undergone a number of renovations to become more and more complete. This is also one of the few laptops that competes on par with the Macbook Air.
