Toyota Corolla Altis 2022 arrives in Vietnam, adding equipment that makes Kia K3 and Hyundai Elantra panic

When Toyota Corolla Altis’ competitors are constantly being upgraded, Vietnamese customers have been looking forward to the new generation of this model for a long time. The current version of the Corolla Altis model is priced at VND 733-763 million.

Toyota Corolla Altis 2022 is developed on the all-new TNGA chassis platform of the Japanese automaker. The manufacturer will remove the 1.8E version of this C-class sedan and the naming of the versions of the new Corolla Altis will be similar to the Toyota Corolla Cross SUV “brother”.

Not only the naming of the new version, Toyota Corolla Altis 2022 also has a change in the dimensions of the length x width x height, respectively 4,630 x 1,780 x 1,455 (mm). The 1.8 HV version has a ground clearance of 149 mm, while the 1.8G and 1.8V versions are both 128 mm.

Toyota Corolla Altis 2022 versions 1.8G and 1.8V both use 2ZR-FBE gasoline engine, 1.8L capacity with a maximum capacity of 138 horsepower. Meanwhile, the 1.8HV version is equipped with a Hybrid engine, code 2ZR-FXE includes an electric motor with a capacity of 72 hp, 163 Nm of torque accompanied by a 1.8L gasoline engine with a capacity of 97 hp and 97 kW. 163 Nm of torque for a total capacity of 122 hp. A CVT automatic transmission is equipped on all new Corolla Altis versions. The car has 2 driving modes: Sport and Normal, especially the 1.8HV version has an EV electric mode.

On the outside, the exterior of the Toyota Corolla Altis 2022 has electric mirrors on the 1.8G version, electric adjustment and automatic folding on the 1.8V version. Particularly, the 1.8HV version has automatic folding mirrors, electric adjustment, automatic adjustment when reversing and blind spot warning. The 1.8G version uses 16-inch wheels while the 1.8V and 1.8HV versions have 225/45R17 tires. On the 2 versions of Toyota Corolla Altis 2022, the standard version is equipped with a 4.2-inch TFT clock, while the 1.8V and 1.8HV versions have a 7-inch TFT central clock, an electronic handbrake. Particularly, the 1.8HV version has tire pressure monitoring and information display on the HUD windshield.
